Beginner's Guide

Welcome to the frozen wasteland. This guide covers the first decisions that matter most in your opening days of Whiteout Survival.

Priorities for week one

1. Push your Furnace. Almost everything gates off Furnace level — keep it upgrading whenever you can afford it.
2. Don't neglect prerequisites. Embassy, Command Center, and resource buildings unlock Furnace levels. Use the Building Calculator to plan the path.
3. Join an active alliance. Alliance help speeds construction and research, and Alliance tech is free power.

Resource management

• Keep resource production buildings near your level — but don't hoard. Held resources can be raided.
• Spend speedups during point events (SvS, KOI) rather than off-peak. See the SvS Prep Guide.

Focus EXP on a small core rather than spreading it thin. The Hero Tier List breaks down who to invest in first.
